Outdoor Volleyball 2025

Get outside and play some outdoor volleyball!  The program is an outdoor 4v4 grass volleyball league for coeds or women ages 16 and up.

Resident Registration: March 24, 2025 (residents only) Non-resident registration opens April 14th, registration closes May 12th

When:  Coed Tuesday evenings, beginning June 17th, Women's Wednesday, beginning June 18th
Captain's meeting: June 3rd, 6:00pm 

Where: Sunrise Meadows Park

Cost:  $150 per team

2025 Youth Pickleball League - Summer 2025

Youth pickleball is in demand! The league will play weekly and is meant for fun, to learn skills and how to play the game. 
The June league will play on Wednesday mornings-June 4th and will run through July 9th, 8:30am-10:00am. **Additional June session has been added, 10:15am-11:45amm, same dates**

 The July league will play on Tuesday mornings-July 1st and will until August 5th, 8:30am-10:00am

 The games will be mostly player run, a Recreation staff member will be on site to help with questions or to help settle a call, but will not be in a official capacity. Age divisions are 12-15 (players 16 and up may to join the adult pickleball league). All games will be played at Patriot Park Pickleball courts

Adaptive Pickleball June 2025 - Summer 2025

Adaptive Youth Pickleball League 2025:

Saratoga Springs Recreation is offering an adaptive youth pickleball league for participants ages 12-18 with Intellectual Disabilities including Autism Spectrum Disorder, Down Syndrome, Fragile X Syndrome, and other genetic disorders.  

The league will offer six, 60 minute sessions. The sessions will be managed by an Adaptive Coach and other Saratoga Recreation staff assisting. During the sessions, instruction and skill will be the first half of the session and game play will be the last half. 

The league will play on Wednesdays beginning June 4th and ending on July 9th from 10:00am-11:00am. Sessions will be held on the pickleball courts at Patriot Park. 

Registration opens January 27th and will close on May 19th. Space is limited, please register early!

CUTA Tennis League 2025 - Summer 2025

League Details 2025

CUTA is The Central Utah Tennis Association youth summer tennis league for boys and girls from 10 to 14 years old. The program is designed for the intermediate to advanced players who have the desire to sharpen their tennis skills.

Weekly matches, home and away against players from other Utah county teams. Instruction, coaching, balls, and team T-shirts are included. Practices will be at Westlake High School tennis courts.

For athletes going into 4-8th grades in the 2024-2025 school year

Athletes can choose one sport: Basketball, Football, Volleyball, Soccer, Tennis, or Baseball/Softball.

Instructional Baseball (Pre-K-2nd grade) 2025 - Summer 2025

Program Details 2025

Instructional baseball is designed to give participants an opportunity to learn the game of baseball at the very basic level.  Registration is based on 2024-25 school year.

Pre-K through Kindergarten will play tee-ball 

1st grade will play coach pitch

2nd grade will play machine pitch.

All programs are coed.

Resident registration begins January 27th, non-resident registration opens February 24th and closes March 31st.

Saratoga Springs- Arts & Crafts Camp - Summer 2025

Come and get your art on with us! Participants will meet at the Pavilion at Shay Park to participate in a variety of art projects such as ice painting, spin art, rock painting, and more. Classes are typically held Monday - Thursday. However, depending on weather we may hold a class on Friday. Participants will need to bring a sack lunch with them each day.

Program Dates: Session 1 June 23 - 26 ; Session 2 July 21 - July 25 (No camp on July 24)

Come join the fun and play games in the park with us! Participants will meet at the Pavilion at Shay Park and participate in a variety of games such as relays, kickball, steal the flag and more. Classes are typically held Monday - Thursday. However, depending on weather we may hold a class on Friday. Participants will need to bring a sack lunch with them each day of camp.

Come hang out with us and explore the world of science. Participants will meet at the pavilion at Shay Park and participate in making rockets, solar ovens, elephant toothpaste and more. Classes are typically held Monday - Thursday. However, depending on weather we may hold a class on Friday. Participants will need to bring a sack lunch with them each day of camp.

Come play with us. Participants will meet at Patriot Park and participate in a variety of sport activities such as football, volleyball, baseball, soccer, and track and field, Classes are typically held Monday - Thursday. However, depending on weather we may hold a camp on Friday. Participants will need to bring a sack lunch with them each day.

Program Dates: Session 1 June 16 - 19 ; Session 2 July 21 - 25 (The same curriculum will be taught at each session and there will be NO camp held on July 24th)

Saratoga Springs- Track and Field 2025 - Summer 2025

Track and Field program is designed to be a program to teach the basic skills of track and field. The program includes at least 10 practices as well as at least 3 track meets. The track and field program will compete against other programs from other city recreation departments so some travel with this program is required.

Registration: January 27 (Resident ONLY); February 17 (Everyone); March 24 (Closes)

Fees: $65 (Resident) $81.25 (Non Resident)

Late Registration Fee: $10. If you miss the registration deadline you will be placed on a waitlist. If there is room in the program you will be called to sign up. A $10 fee will apply to those coming off the waitlist.

Where: TBA

Who: Ages 7 to 14 years old. Ages are determined by USATF age guidelines which are the birth year and not actual age.

When: Season begins the week of April 21st, end first week of June (Week day practices will be held on Tuesday's and meets will be held on Saturday's)

Includes: At least 10 practices and at least 3 meets

Track Uniform: The City of Saratoga will use the same track uniform each season. Participants must wear a Saratoga Springs track uniform for our track meets. Track uniforms may be purchase at check out or at our rec offices. Participants who have purchased a track uniform in previous years do not need to purchase an additional uniform each year.

Saratoga Springs- Water Palooza Camp - Summer 2025

Escape the heat and come hang out with us at or Water Palooza Summer Camp. Campers will meet at Shay Park and participate in a variety of water activities such as water volleyball, water bowling, water toss relays, and more. Classes are typically held Monday- Thursday. However, depending on weather we may hold a class on Friday. Participants who are ages 7-11 years of age will need to bring a sack lunch with them each day.

Splash Days Pickleball Open! Ages 16+ - Summer 2025

Come and play in the Splash Days PB Open! The Open will be a great way to end a fun-filled week of Splash activities, followed by food trucks and a fireworks show! Bring your camp chairs and coolers for a fun evening at Patriot Park! 

Registration fees:  $30 per team (only one player needs to register the duo)

Splash Days Pickleball Open! Youth 12-15 - Summer 2025

Splash Days Pickleball Open 2025:

New for 2025! Youth division! 

 Resident registration: February 24th for residents and March 24th for non-residents and will close April 21st. 
Registration fees: $30 per team (only one person of team needs to register the duo), non-resident registration $38
Who: Youth ages 12-15
Date: Friday, June 13th  
Format: Musical King/Queen of the Court
Schedule: 8:30am-10:30am

Only one adult of a duo needs to register the duo, you will name your partner at the event.
Duos do not need to me M/F for this event and divisions will not be broken out in skill level, this is for pure play and fun!

Tennis Lessons 2025 - Summer 2025

Tennis lessons are designed to teach the basic skills needed to play tennis. Youth sessions are 8 classes 50 minutes long held Monday through Thursday for two weeks. 

Classes will be held at the Westlake High School tennis courts. Classes for beginners through intermediate will be available.

Urban Fishing Lessons 2025 - Summer 2025

In partnership with the DWR, urban fishing is a program designed to give basic fishing instructions to those young kids (6 to 12 yrs) who want to learn. This program will provide a short lesson of instruction followed by open fishing time each session. The program will be held at the City Marina. The program will be 6 two hour long sessions starting in June.

This program has limited space and may fill before the registration deadline. Participants are only allowed to sign up for one session to allow more kids to participate.

Westlake Boy's Basketball Camp 2025 - Summer 2025

Thunder Basketball Camps are run by Head Coach Nate Carling and his staff and players. Coach Carling is entering his 12th season as the Head Basketball Coach at Westlake High School. He has led the Thunder to two Region 4 Championships, three trips to the Final Four and one trip to the State Championship game. Coach Carling has twice been named the Utah High School Basketball Coaches Association Coach of the Year.

Coach Carling's Thunder Basketball Camps focus on the fundamentals of the game of basketball (shooting, passing, dribbling, defense and rebounding) in a fun and competitive environment. Each day at camp will include 3v3 or 5v5 game play. The final day of camp will include a 1v1 Competition, 3 Point Shoot-out, Hot Shot Competition and Skills Course Challenge. Prizes will be awarded to the winner of each grade-level competition. Each participant will receive a T-Shirt.

All grades are determined by the 2025-2026 school year.

Westlake Tennis Camps 2025 - Summer 2025

The Westlake High Tennis camps will be a unique experience because of their themes and what they will cover in each week. Each week the focus will be very heavy on the theme of the week, and the coaches will have the drills and instruction needed to achieve the objective. Players will be able to put all into practice on the Friday of each camp, when we will do either a UTR or USTA tournament to showcase the new skills and get match practice. For players looking to be able to play in more competitive tennis, whether it's from the middle school team, high school team or tournaments, you'll find that any of the weeks will make you into a better tennis player. 

The Camp will be directed by Joseph Venoza, (Westlake High Boys tennis head coach) who has 10 plus years of experience coaching state tennis champions(boys and girls) in both singles and doubles across Utah Valley and has been awarded the USTA Linda Vincent Community Service Award. Certified level 2 by RSPA(USPTA) for 6 plus years and by ICI and tennis registry in CCLevel 1 ProCC level 2 and DoublesCC.

Kids want to get in on the fun too! Youth Beginner clinics are offered for kids ages 11-15 each summer. 

Do you want to learn how to play the fastest growing sport in Utah?! Register for our beginner Pickleball clinic to be taught the basics of Pickleball! Our clinic is taught by a professional Pickleball player who has been teaching clinics in Saratoga for more than four years. You will learn the basic rules and skills of playing Pickleball. Clinic sessions will be 90 minutes long once a week for a duration of three weeks.

Non-resident registration opens Monday, January 20th

Registration Fee: $375 for residents/$507 for non-resident teams

Who: Men and Coed, ages 16+

Where: All games are played at Patriot Park

Season Start: April 15th/16th

• Men's league plays on Tuesday nights
• Coed league plays on Thursday nights
• Games are scheduled for 6:00, 7:0, 8:00, and 9:00  

2025 Spring Pickleball League - Spring 2025

Resident registration: December 23rd for residents and non-resident registration begins January 20th, registration ends March 17th. (Space is limited, the program may fill before the deadline!)

Cost: Single Registration: $25 for resident/ $31 for non-resident

League is a Round Robin format, register as a single player to rotate through games with different partners and opponents. 

Doubles Registration: $50 resident/ $62 for non-resident

League is a Round Robin format, register as a duo to rotate through games against other duos. (Only one needs to register)

Any duo is welcome, male/male, female/female, male/female. 

Beginner Pickleball Clinic (16+)- May 2025 - Spring 2025

Spring Soccer 2025 - Spring 2025

Spring Soccer is a recreational program for kids to learn to play soccer.  In this league players learn basic soccer skills.  Focus is on learning soccer skills and learning to be part of a team.  Games are played on Saturdays and some weeknights at various parks throughout Saratoga Springs.  Practice times will be determined by the coach. 

Registration for residents only is open from December 9th - January 6th at 11:59 pm

Registration for everyone is open from January 7th - February 10th at 11:59 pm

Wait List registration is open from 8:30 am February 11th - April 22nd

• coming off the wait list. THERE IS LIMITED ROOM IN THIS PROGRAM, PROGRAM MAY FILL BEFORE DEADLINE
  
• Where: Games will be held at Patriot Park
  
• Who: Grades 3rd-12th
  
• When: Season will start late April and will continue through June.  For those who qualify a state tournament will be held in July.  Games will be played on weeknights.
  
• Fees:  Residents - $92 for 3rd-6th     $102 for 7th-12th
• Non-Residents - $124 for 3rd-6th      $136 for 7th-12th
  
• League Amenities: 10 games, shirt, hat, pants, & a post season tournament.

Season
The season starts at the end of April. It is a 10 game season with games on weeknights. Practices will be scheduled by the coach.  There will be a consolation city tournament following the season. There will also be a state tournament for the top teams who qualify from the city tournament. Details will be given to teams that qualify.
