Jr. Jazz (High School) 2026 - Winter 2026

Team Creation

Participants will sign up as a team.  During team registration the team fee will be charged to the team captain.

An adult must register the team. When enrolling you must pick an adult as the enrollee.  You will be able to add players to the roster later.

When
Season starts after Memorial Day and runs through end June/early July 
Games are played weeknights and on Saturdays. Machine pitch plays only on Saturdays for the first half of the season.

Equipment
All players are required to have a reversible Saratoga Springs Recreation jersey. Coaches will be given equipment, but players will need to provide their own glove. 

Coaches Needed
Our programs are run by volunteers.  If you are able please volunteer as good coaches are always needed.

Saratoga Springs- Track and Field 2026 - Summer 2026

Track and Field program is designed to be a program to teach the basic skills of track and field. The program includes at least 10 practices as well as at least 3 track meets. The track and field program will compete against other programs from other city recreation departments so some travel with this program is required.

Program Details 2026

Registration: January 26 (Resident ONLY); February 16 (Everyone); March 23 (Closes)

Fees: $65 (Resident) $81.25 (Non Resident)

Late Registration Fee: $10. If you miss the registration deadline you will be placed on a waitlist. If there is room in the program you will be called to sign up. A $10 fee will apply to those coming off the waitlist.

Where: TBA

Who: Ages 7 to 14 years old. Ages are determined by USATF age guidelines which are the birth year and not actual age.

When: Season begins the week of April 20th, end first week of June (Week day practices will be held on Tuesday's and meets will be held on Saturday's)

Includes: At least 10 practices and at least 3 meets

Track Uniform: The City of Saratoga will use the same track uniform each season. Participants must wear a Saratoga Springs track uniform for our track meets. Track uniforms may be purchase at check out or at our rec offices. Participants who have purchased a track uniform in previous years do not need to purchase an additional uniform each year.

Girl's Fastpitch Softball 2026 - Spring 2026

Girl’s Fast Pitch Softball is a recreational program for kids to learn the basic skills of softball.  Focus is on learning softball skills and learning to be part of a team.

Program Details 2026

• Registration: December 22, 2025 for residents and January 20 for non-residents. Registration ends for all on February 9, 2026.
  
• Where: Games will be held at Patriot Park. Could combine with other cities based on registration numbers.
  
• Who: Grades 3rd-12th
  
• When: Season will start late April.
• League Amenities: 10 games, shirt, hat, pants, & a post season tournament.

Spring Soccer 2026 - Spring 2026

Spring Soccer is a recreational program for kids to learn to play soccer.  In this league players learn basic soccer skills.  Focus is on learning soccer skills and learning to be part of a team.  Games are played on Saturdays and some weeknights at various parks throughout Saratoga Springs.  Practice times will be determined by the coach. 

Registration for residents only is open from December 8th at 9 am - January 5th at 11:59 pm

Registration for everyone is open from January 6th at 9 am - February 9th at 11:59 pm

Wait List registration is open from February 10th at 9 am - April 18th at 11:59 pm

This program has limited capacity and may fill before the registration deadline!  Do not wait to register or we may not have room for your participant to sign up.

Youth Baseball 2026 - Spring 2026

Program Details 2026

• Registration: Resident December 22, Non-Resident January 20 - February 9. A waitlist will be available Feb. 10 - April 17. A $10 fee will apply to those
• coming off the wait list. THERE IS LIMITED ROOM IN THIS PROGRAM, PROGRAM MAY FILL BEFORE DEADLINE
  
• Where: Games will be held at Patriot Park
  
• Who: Grades 3rd-12th
  
• When: Season will start late April and will continue through June.  For those who qualify a state tournament will be held in July.  Games will be played on weeknights.
  
• Fees:  Residents - $92 for 3rd-6th     $102 for 7th-12th
• Non-Residents - $124 for 3rd-6th      $136 for 7th-12th
  
• League Amenities: 10 games, shirt, hat, & pants.

Season
The season starts at the end of April. It is a 10 game season with games on weeknights. Practices will be scheduled by the coach.  There will be a consolation city tournament for 7th-12th grade programs following the season. There will also be a state tournament for the top teams from season play (3rd-6th) and those who qualify from the city tournament (7th-12th). Details will be given to teams that qualify.
